How ordering works

I make most of what I sell after someone places an order. So if something says it is available, that does not always mean I have a finished piece sitting in the shop ready to ship. It means I can make one for you.

How long it takes

My live edge folded shelf and smooth edge walnut folded shelf usually take 6 to 10 weeks to make before I ship them. My shipping policy allows up to 12 weeks. Other projects may have different processing times, so please check the individual listing. Shipping transit time comes after that.

Shipping

I ship my work from Bemidji, Minnesota, ZIP 56601. you will see the available carriers and shipping prices at checkout based on where you live. Domestic shipments use the configured FedEx service, and supported international destinations may have USPS or DHL options.

I do my best to pack everything carefully. For one folded wall shelf, the original shipping reference is 4 lb and a 26 × 8 × 8 inch box. A set of three has a provisional shipping weight of 12 lb and may need a larger box. Other product weights and package sizes are estimates until I pack the order, so they may change.

Hanging your shelves

Some of my shelves include floating mounting hardware, as noted in their listings. I recommend mounting into wall studs whenever possible. On the folded wall shelves, the mounting points are about 16 inches apart, and the fold should face down for the most stable position. Please make sure your wall and hardware can safely support what you plan to put on the shelf. Masonry anchors are not suitable for hollow drywall.
